FAQs

What does a chiropractor do?

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who specialises in supporting spinal health. At Enjoy Chiropractic in Bournemouth, we use gentle, evidence-informed techniques to help support your body in moving and functioning at its best.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic care is considered safe when delivered by a qualified practitioner. Each session is personalised to your health and comfort, following professional guidelines.

What makes Enjoy Chiropractic different?

Enjoy Chiropractic offers personalised, patient-centred care with a refined focus on the upper spine, an area central to posture, balance, and nervous system function. We combine modern understanding with traditional chiropractic principles, using a variety of evidence-informed techniques to support spinal health. Early morning appointments and a tailored approach make it easy to prioritise your wellbeing, ensuring care is both convenient and precise for long-term comfort and improved movement.

What should I expect on the First Visit?

During your First Visit, we take a detailed health history, followed by a spinal assessment, neurological exam and orthopaedic testing. Once thoroughly reviewed, we will discuss a personalised plan of care with you and commence treatment, if appropriate, during the following visit. Imaging incurring an additional cost may be required if clinically indicated.

What can chiropractic help with?

Chiropractic care may help with a variety of musculoskeletal concerns, such as:

  • Joint discomfort
  • Headache arising from the neck (cervicogenic headache)
  • General acute and chronic back pain
  • Sciatica
  • Mechanical neck pain
  • Generalised aches and pains
  • Migraine prevention
  • Tension and difficulty relaxing

What is an 'adjustment'?

An adjustment is a controlled, precise movement that helps support spinal health. Enjoy Chiropractic incorporates HVLA (high-velocity-low-amplitude) adjustments, instrument-assisted techniques, and manual mobilisation methods tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.

How can I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked online for our Bournemouth based chiropractic clinic. Early morning appointments are available for those with busy schedules, making it easier to prioritise your spinal health.
